After spending one and a half month under rain and snow we needed some vitamin D, so we took a plane and went to Valencia for ten days of sun and jamon!
There are at least ten reasons to go to Valencia with the kids and enjoy an improvised vacation.
Sun – Summer in Valencia starts very early and may last until in other parts of Europe is already autumn.
Good mood – The Spanish people fight the crisis with their good mood, try to get infected by their laughs.
Low cost – There are endless options for any pocket and budget.
Baby friendly – I am not talking about baby chairs and toys, but about the nice weather which will allow you to enjoy the outdoors even at dinner.
Science and arts – The popular City of Arts and Sciences is an unmissable highlight… kids will love it and so will you!
Paella – Food in Valencia is great, you can have proof of it in the many bars and restaurants, as well as in the central market.
Playa – That means beach: Valencia has a charming coastline with beautiful beaches to enjoy the sea.
Shopping – You love shoes? Valencia is the place to go. Several brands are based here, like Pedro Garcia just to name one.
Relax – The town isn’t very big, which added to the nice weather and the friendly people makes up for a perfect relaxing holiday.
Green – Where the Turia river once flowed there is now a beautiful nine-kilometre long park which surrounds the town’s historic centre.
Expat for love, I bounced from Milan to Malesia, from Singapur to London, in just four years. Now I live in Moscow with Ale and our two children: Pippy and Piggy.
