Discovering the Italian Dolomites

Is winter just made for skiers? I don’t think so. You can enjoy the mountain’s marvels through many other activities, from thermal care for your body in the middle of a beautiful snowwhite frame, to ever-healthy winter trekking… and Italian Dolomites are the perfect spot where dig in all these things.

Dolomites, Italy

Lately I went to Molveno, Andalo and the Brenta Dolomites. Molveno, on the shore of a beautiful lake, is better known as a summer destination, a favourite for many holiday makers who prefer this idillic mountain heaven instead of the crowded sea beaches. During winter ther may not be much to do in the village, but there is plenty of hiking trails through magnificent snowy fields.

Born in Prato (Italy), I grew up and still live in a small village on the Tuscan-Emilian Appennine Mountains. I have always been in love with travelling, adventure and exploration. "Wannabe" photoreporter, I tell the cultures and traditions of faraway people. Actually, as soon as I can I pack up and leave!
